We like FBCLO because the worship is God-centered and His truth is preached without compromise.  There is loving fellowship, a desire among the body to serve one another and a sincere concern for the lost.

The Cornerstone ministry has been a huge blessing and an instrument of growth in my life.  I have learned so much about Christ not only through the deep studies in God's word, but also through the close fellowship with other believers, and through the opportunitites to serve.  It is so refreshing and encouraging to be in a group that centers its goal in God's glory.

It is such a blessing to have found First Baptist Church of Lake Orion.  Prior to our coming to FBC, we'd been without a church home for nearly a year and greatly desired to be part of a church body again.  From our first visit to FBC, we felt very welcomed.  The people there are so friendly and are concerned for both our need for salvation, as well as our physical growth and well-being.  It's such a blessing to be a part of a ministry where people are genuine and loving without compromising the truth of Scripture.

Spreading the good news of Jesus Christ is a high priority at FBCLO.  The church family is so giving that God has poured out His blessings on FBC's ministry becasue of that vision.  In fact FBCLO's missions program has changed my life.  I had been a member of the church for a number of years when, one Sunday morning, a missionary shared his burden for the lost.  God used that message to help me realize that He was calling me to go to the mission field.

Before moving to Lake Orion, we searched the internet for suitable churches in the area.  After reading about the ministry at First Baptist Church, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for.  We certainly have not been disappointed!  We especially love the children's programs which are marked by a standard of excellence.
