Our desire to introduce the community to our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ and to First Baptist Church of Lake Orion. Throughout the year, we host several Harvest Events, such as  Vacation Bible School, Ladies' Luncheon, Youth Activities, Harvest Dinner and retreats, etc., as a means to expose our ministry to families and friends interested in joining a church community. These events are an opportunity to present the Gospel to the Lake Orion and Oxford communities and to introduce the community to our loving church family.


For example, one of the most important harvest events that we hold each year is our Harvest Dinner, held each fall.  This is a time where folks share their  testimony, and their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and how He has changed their life.

We have 4 goals for our outreach concerts, which are representative of the goals that we have for all our outreach events:

1)    To honor the Lord through our church's music ministry and through the testimony of a special speaker; 2)    To honor those that have served in the United States' military; 3)    To honor those that have served the country in government or community service; 4)    To gain publicity for FBCLO so those that come know of a church that is interested in honoring God.
