For the Whole Family    Adult Ministries    Bible Institute

Bible Institute

Lake Orion Baptist Bible Institute exists to equip lay people for the work of the ministry by giving those who desire to more fully understand the Scriptures an opportunity to study the Bible in more detail.

We began our Bible Institute in 1998 with a firm belief in the sufficiency of Scripture. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 is the basis for this idea:

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

We believe that the more knowledge we have of the Scriptures, the more capable we will be in applying the truth of the Scriptures in our lives. Therefore, the goal of our Bible Institute is to assist people in growing in their knowledge of the Scriptures and in the application of its truths.

Striving in Excellence

God has blessed us with a great facility. Our classrooms are comfortable and well-equipped. We schedule our classes on Monday evenings to accommodate your work schedule. Additionally, we have only well qualified teachers for each class. Each instructor has spent many hours studying his topic. You can be assured that the quality of each class is very high.

If you are interested in receiving more detailed instruction in the Bible, consider taking a class in our Bible Institute. Not every one can afford the time or the money to go away to Bible college to get a degree. Part of the beauty of our Lake Orion Bible Institute is that we’re right here in the community, ready and willing to serve you. Come and check us out.

Systematic Theology is a study that every believer must engage in if he/she is to “defend the faith” that God has entrusted to the saints.
